Twitter Blue Subscription is being relaunched: Elon Musk has stated that all legacy Blue checkmarks will be erased over the next few months. He went on to say that the following counts might be used to determine who is and is not a celebrity. Elon Musk has announced that the redesigned Twitter Blue will be introduced on November 29. The billionaire announced the news on Twitter. He stated that the service will be delayed in order to get a “rock solid” start.
Twitter Blue was pulled back last week after many reports of abuse on the platform. Many impersonators purchased the subscription and changed their names to those of well-known Twitter users. This resulted in perpetual pandemonium for Twitter and the moderators in charge of maintaining cleanliness on the platform.
“Punting relaunch of Blue Verified to November 29th to ensure that it is rock solid,” he wrote in a tweet. Musk reaffirmed in the same stream of tweets that all legacy Blue checkmarks will be erased in a couple of months.

When asked about the official badge and similar badges to promote celebrities, Musk stated that it will be difficult to determine who is and isn’t a celebrity. He believes that “follower count and disallowing purposeful impersonation” could be factors in making the distinction. He stated in a tweet, “Hard to say who’s celeb & who isn’t. Being able to sort by follower count & disallowing deliberate impersonation probably solves this.”

The redesigned Twitter Blue was released a week following Musk’s takeover, causing confusion on the platform because both legacy checkmarks and the new Twitter Blue membership were active. Many users were able to change their names in order to imitate other prominent identities while still having the blue checkmark. Because of the misunderstanding, the number of impostor accounts has skyrocketed. Twitter eventually removed the feature.
Elon Musk has stated that the new feature will cost $7.99 in the United States. The pricing has not been publicly published in India, however, several users have reported receiving notifications to subscribe to Twitter Blue for Rs 719. The cost is higher than what US subscribers have been requested to pay for the Blue subscription.
Changes coming to the Twitter Blue Subscription plan: Elon Musk has promised that in the next months, all of the Blue checkmarks from the past will be removed. He continued by suggesting the following metrics could be used to establish celebrity status.
Elon Musk has declared the November 29 release date for the reimagined Twitter Blue. The multibillionaire made the announcement on Twitter. He explained that they are delaying the service so they can get off to a “rock solid” beginning.
