Nepo infants have received a poor reputation in recent years, particularly in recent months, as several celebrities have fought the idea that their birth families had even a small influence on their success.
But all of that has changed thanks to Sofia Coppola’s teenage daughter Romy Mars, who hilariously demonstrated that she was well aware of her privileged upbringing in a popular TikTok while pointing out completely outrageous things that her opulent lifestyle had made possible for her, like easily renting a helicopter using her father’s credit card, lead singer of Phoenix.
But don’t worry. Her parents have “grounded” her now, so everything is fine. Nevi infants are just like you and me, as you can see. Romy released a short film on social media in which she settled in for a night of making supper at home, demonstrating that she was firmly following in the footsteps of her director’s mother (The Virgin Suicides, The Bling Ring, Lost in Translation).
Romy wrote in her video, which has since been deleted (According to NME)
“Make a vodka sauce pasta with me because I’m grounded because I tried to charter a helicopter from New York to Maryland on my dad’s credit card because I wanted to have dinner with my camp friend.”
Relaying her culinary thought processes, she admitted (as reported by Yahoo)
“didn’t know the difference between a garlic and an onion.”
And had to google images of onions on her phone to find out which one. She was embarrassed by her revelation but continued adding shallots to her dish. Is this a result of famous parents always employing a personal chef to meet their daily needs? It may perhaps be.
Romy further explained (According to Themarysue)
“Also, I thought I would do this because I’m already grounded because my parent’s biggest rule is that I’m not allowed to have public social media accounts. Here’s why,” she added before posing with her father’s Grammy award. She continued, “because they don’t want me to be a nepotism kid, but TikTok is not gonna make me famous, so it doesn’t really matter.”

She had no idea how much her TikTok video would become viral. Since the video’s content was amusing and the editing was spot-on, we can all agree that this nepo baby is one we should support in this particular case. Others online agree, with one person tweeting:
“This is all we want from nepo babies honestly. Other nepo babies plz take notes.”
“A perfect short film, we have a third generation of Coppola directors.”
“it has dramatic tension, excellent scene-setting, good evocative props that indicate emotions (onions = tears) shocking family revelations, slapstick comedy, great dialogue… you’re right.”
Although we can’t wait to see Romy’s maiden film as a director, you might give her an Oscar immediately because we know it will be just as fantastic. For nepo babies, justice. To keep up with the latest events, check out Smartnewszone.com and forward this article to your friends and family.
