The Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, reportedly fell at a hotel on Wednesday, 8 March, and was taken to a hospital in Washington, DC, according to a spokesperson. McConnell, 81, “fell during a private dinner,” according to David Popp.
Popp said McConnell had a concussion and would be hospitalized for “a few days” for observation and care.
