This year, Apple TV+ has been on a roll consistently launching fresh, distinctive series while putting a premium on quality over quantity. Because of this, the streamer not only has a great selection to choose from but also doesn’t force viewers to wait around for a promising series to start.
Drops of God, Bad Sisters, Ted Lasso and Last Thing He Told Me were all popular additions this year and it aims to expand its collection once again with the upcoming miniseries, Hijack. A new British thriller series called Hijack was created by Jim Field Smith and George Kay. The actor felt the real-time storytelling was interesting, saying:
“It takes a fresh approach to a thriller and hostage situation. There’s an amplified nature of having a ticking time bomb in a plane and what that does to human nature. In any case, here’s everything we know about Hijack, the upcoming Apple TV+ thriller.”
What is Hijack Release Date?
On Wednesday, June 28, Hijack will make its international streaming debut on Apple TV+. Two episodes will be included in the season 1 debut; following that, Hijack will continue to release new episodes every week.
While the exact timing of the release is yet TBD, fans can anticipate new episodes of Hijack to debut on Apple TV+ starting at the following times:
- Pacific Time – 9 PM
- Eastern Time – 12 AM
- British Time – 5 AM
- European Time – 6 AM
- Philippine Time – 12 PM
- Australia Eastern Standard Time – 2 PM
Access to the streaming service will cost new users in the US $6.99 per month, going up to $14.99 if you want to add an MLS season pass to your package. After a seven-day free trial, Apple TV+ costs only £6.99 a month in the UK. The service also offers a three-month free trial when buying a new Apple device.
Take a look at the tweet that was initially Tweteed by Apple TV:
